-Aroma-Palate
This wine has a brilliant golden hue with a bouquet of ripe peaches and manuka honey. The palate is silky showing intense flavours of peach syrup and toffee with hints of honey. Although deliciously sweet, this wine has bright acidity giving freshness and length.
Winemaker Anita Ewart-Croy
Winemakers Notes-Harvest-Vinification-Fermentation Concentrated raisins of Viognier were carefully hand selected in April 2008 and slowly whole bunch pressed. The resulting sweet syrup was carefully fined prior to fermentation, then fermented in mature French barriques for 10 months.
